Story sketches from my story “Xia” that I did for the Nick Artist Fellowship storyboard track. The characters you see are Aria (the little girl), her older sister Maggie and Maggie’s alien boyfriend Drenn.
I’m taking Drawing for Film this semester with Pixarian Tony Christov (Finding Nemo, Cars). It’s a great class — we focus on character design, props, environments, everything you need to know to design a film.
On this day I drew my classmates as they listened and presented their ideas. Good group of folks.
Selected sketches from the “Anna hires Kristoff” sequence in Frozen. Better know as “Reindeers Are Better than People”. This was one the first sequences to go into production. More to come in the next few weeks!
Thanks for sharing! These are amazing.
Here is “Knot”, a short comic I drew to sell at Mocca and TCAF this year. The printed version is going to be SO PRETTY. I’m in love with the cover (which I will post later).
I just wanted to do something fairy-tale-like that talked about doubts and frustrations and how to deal with them. I’m really happy with how colorful and adorable the story turned out to be.
If you enjoyed “Knot”, please consider reblogging it and/or checking out my ongoing webcomic Namesake! HUGS TO ALL OF YOU!
Isa’s been showing me wips of this for awhile, look how pretty this is finished, ahhh!!
